INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

Duties Taxes and Tariffs:

Please note that international customers are responsible for paying all relevant duties and taxes.

Returns:

Refunds on international orders do not include duties, taxes, tariffs or shipping charges. Unfortunately, we cannot offer free returns on international orders.

Exchanges:

We cannot offer merchandise exchanges on orders shipped internationally. If you need to exchange an item, please return the item and place a new order for your desired product.

SALES TAX

Sales tax is calculated, based upon state sales tax.

The inclusion of these third party sites does not imply that we endorse these sites or companies or that we are responsible for the Content, Privacy Policies or Terms of Service of any linked site. INTERNET FRAUD

To protect our customers from Internet fraud, 1670charlestowne.com reserves the right to refuse to ship orders submitted with untraceable or free email addresses or invalid phone numbers.

RETURN POLICY

If for some reason you are unhappy with your purchase, we will accept returns on unused merchandise within 15 days of the delivery of your order. Items must be returned in the original packaging to avoid shipping damage.

You are responsible for carefully packaging and shipping the return order back to City Candle. The candle must be un-burned and fully intact for a refund to be processed, so please do package your return with care. Additionally, we cannot be held responsible for packages that are lost on their way back to us, please consider getting a tracking number for that return shipment. Return shipping costs must be incurred by the customer.

We reserve the right to refuse any merchandise that does not meet our return policy guidelines. Company will issue you a store credit on any approved returns equal to the purchase price of the returned item(s) minus the shipping fees. The original shipping fee is not refundable.

ALL SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE, no returns or exchanges are available on final sale items. Additionally, items purchased with store credit are FINAL SALE and ineligible for a refund/return.

DAMAGED ITEMS

If your candle(s) is delivered damaged please email customer service at support@1670charlestowne.com with a brief description of the damage and photo if possible. We will then email you a return shipping label. Please ship the items back in the original packaging to prevent any further shipping damage and we will replace the candle(s) at no further charge.

Please be aware that candles are heat-sensitive items. Company cannot accept returned candles for heat damage.

Your direct correspondence with 1670charlestowne.com signifies your approval to use your communications in any manner previously referenced. SHIPPING

Standard Shipping and Handling

  • PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY ORDERS THAT INCLUDE MATCH BOX(S) ARE REQUIRED TO BE SHIPPED VIA GROUND DELIVERY ONLY!
  • Most orders ship within 3-5 business days from receipt of order, this excludes weekends. Please note, orders placed during heavily promoted and/or holiday periods might require additional processing time.
  • Please allow 5-7 business days for shipments within the continental U.S. to arrive. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and APO and FPO order can take up to 4 weeks to arrive.
  • You can ship an order to a different address than your billing address.
  • Physical street addresses are required; no PO boxes can be processed.
  • Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, APO and FPO addresses are Priority Parcel Post delivery only. An additional fee does apply.
  • We use a variety of carriers for each shipping option, and will choose the most appropriate delivery method for your desired shipping address.
  • Currently international shipping is not available.
  • Please note that ‘HOT ZONE’ shipping is implemented from May 1st through Labor Day in order to avoid melting of candles.  Orders shipping to the following states will be shipped on Mondays only unless expedited delivery is requested:
    •  Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Texas, and Florida

  • Overnight: Next business day delivery for orders placed by 6:59 p.m. EST Monday – Friday.
  • Expedited: Delivery within 2 business days for orders placed by 6:59 p.m. EST Monday – Friday.
